Hola!
Me, Myself and I                Links                Mail me

Well, this page has near nothing on it right now, most of the links won't work for another day or so (wait, there aren't any links), but the important thing is, to me, anyhow, that it's here!  Most of this is now my writing, and I personally would like to change that.  So if anyone wants to send me something to post, *hint nudge*, I'd most probably be willing and happy to do so.

FanFiction - Les Misérables

Dismissed -- The first story I ever pushed my way all the way through.  It felt quite odd to finish it, I tell you, but  a good sort of odd.  Javert is dismissed and framed (sort of).  Some Friends of the ABC involved, a dash of Patron Minette, plus a chapter with some violent content.  So beware if you don't care to read that stuff.

That "Kindness" Thing  -- I wrote this one for my best friend Sara's birthday, a very avid Eponine fan, that friend.  However, we couldn't leave out Javert, so here's another variation on the "Inspector Takes in Eponine" plot.  Enjoy!  It was fun to write.

The Arms of the Angel -- A young (9 years) Javert's Christmas time.  The title does have some relevance, and yes, I know it sounds like a Sarah McLaughlin song.  To tell you the truth, that was the inspiration.  You know how it is when you're feeling sappy and a song comes over the radio that just brings up images ... to be continued.  Really, I mean it, too.

Trust -- This one's weird.  Written in a very clumsy tense (or is it more than one?  Goodness knows I wasn't paying attention), and inspired -- loosely, now -- by Philip Quast's "Stars" on the "Hey Mr. Producer!" video.  Or it may be more truthful to say it was inspired by the whole kneeling thing.  I can't watch that without some sort of emotion.

Closing Time -- Yet another "Inspector Takes in Eponine", except this time co-written by my best friend Sara!  Before I had given her the other one for her birthday, anyhow.  A serious story turned farce turned serious story, with a few just plain random occurrences, and thus inevitably corny.  Like that movie "Independence Day"... all right, so this is even cornier than "Independence Day".

Kindred Ties -- My very first fanfic in the Les Mis universe, written before I'd even finished book "Cosette", and fitted to the 1998 movie because that's all I had to go by at the time.  It's been "re-fitted" so to speak, to work with the novel instead.  More of a character clarification for my own purposes than for reading, but since I haven't kept with this interpretation, I guess I'll post it.

Javert Torture Has It's Consequences -- Reality finally catches up with a crazed fanfcition author.  Well, sort of.  I suppose I really would have killed the guy by now.  But I'm not the only one, oh, no.  I'll have to get a copy of the original "Javert Torture" thread from the Fan-Fiction Addicts list, then perhaps you'll see that this isn't limited to one person.

Insanity in General
i.e., not limited to fiction like the above insanity

All right, this is Javvy.  He started as a drawing of a picture from the Les Mis Broadway souvenir program, and since I kind of butchered some of his features, he turned out as someone other than Robert Gallagher -- namely, Javvy.  He's very sensitive, this little guy, (all right, I figured he looked nothing like Javert, so why not go all the way?) and downright shy.  If there's one subject to tiptoe about around Javvy, it's his hats.  He loves that Napoleonic monstrosity, but who am I to judge?  Oh, and by the way, you can speak to Javvy.  I do it all the time. *G*  I wanted a smaller picture of him, but Photo Studio simply isn't cooperating.

Soon to come! *G*  Mail Javvy!  This is the insanity section, is it not?  He thrives on the people around him. C'mon ... the guy needs friends.
